Chops 'n' Soul

Bayonne, New Jersey

Saxophonist and New Jersey native Darryl Dixon cut his teeth as a member of George Clinton’s Parliament-Funkadelic collective. He founded Chops Horns, the house horn section for legendary Hip-Hop label Sugar Hill Records from 1980-1982. Chops ‘n’ Soul is a collaboration between singer/producer "Soul Joel" Parisien, Chops Horns, and P-Funk alumni Bernie Worrell, Dennis Chambers and Fred Wesley.
